ROX keeps the classic jobs and world while layering in enhanced visuals, strategic combat, fair loot, and free trading. It launched on Steam on February 25, 2026, reaching an even bigger PC audience. Server merges and live-ops continue through 2026.
ROX vs Ragnarok: The New World
Both are modern, active Gravity titles, but they aim differently. ROX is a faithful modernization — classic jobs, maps, and card system upgraded. The New World is the franchise's first open-world take. ROX has the bigger player base and the Steam release; The New World has the novelty of a true open world.
